engine donor PROJECT 3 (May 2002)
EBAY Engine Donor

As listed: ...1976 HONDA CB 750 for PARTS. Has been parked in my Dallas warehouse for 5 years. Was running when parked. It is complete. I have lost the title, so I am selling it for parts. The engine turns over.

As received:
Replaced battery and cleaned carbs then started right up. Sounds great! Clutch and transmission in working order. Yea!!!

stripped stripped Stripped Down
Seat and tank was junk so they were left for the garbage man. Rear disc brake works but front master and caliper is junk. Millions of wires removed. Solenoid, rectifier, and regulator were salvaged.

progress progress Progress
Built a Santee type wire box. Pod filters. Started to replace the bolts and screws with new shiny ones. Metal is polishing up nicely. Just about ready for transplant.

progress progress CASTING
Plaster of Paris applied to construct a model of the engine. I thought this made more sense than trying to lug a 400 pound engine around and trying to fit it into the frame. I wonder if anyone has done this before?

UPDATE:
This was a mistake. All it did was make a great big mess! Instead I found an engine for $40 and gutted it. Only problems was that after tearing it apart, I couldn't find anything wrong with it. Even the oil and plugs looked new. I diassembled a perfectly good engine.
